BUNKS test to international standards for colour fastness when exposed to light, seawater and chlorine. Although some fading is expected when worn and exposed to sunlight, seawater and chlorine, you can significantly increase the lifespan of your BUNKS by taking the following steps: Always rinse your BUNKS thoroughly with fresh water as this helps wash out any potentially harmful chemicals from chlorine or salt water. Washing - turn your BUNKS inside out when washing to stop them snagging on other garments and to minimise colour fading. Wash using a mild detergent that cleanses, conditions and removes salt, chlorine or residue. If using a washing machine, wash using a quick cycle set at a 30 °C synthetic wash. To dry - hang up or lay out your BUNKS inside out and out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry. Please avoid wearing your BUNKS for prolonged periods in hot tubs and chlorinated water
